Accommodation for the courses is initially provided by Hillwood  in Rosewell where the light work and lunches are held. Further accommation can be booked in private Bed and Breakfast homes very close to Rosslyn chapel - in most cases your rooms will overlook the chapel.

These people are all local and appreciate a pleasant and peaceful village life here. Rooms will be booked according to availability on a first come first served basis, and every effort will be made that you are in close proximity to your friends if you come in a small group.

Single room occupancy of twin or double rooms in B & Bs may be possible - rooms are booked on a first come first served basis. Single occupancy may carry a standard supplementary charge, set according to each establishment.

Rooms in the two local small hotels can also be booked for a supplement.

Jackie will advise of and detail any supplementary charges for accommodation when you book a place on the workshop.

Evening Meals - There are two local inns that supply reasonably priced lunch and evening meals.

Free Moments - local walks offer you opportunities to see nature at close quarters (deer, birds of prey, rabbits, foxes etc).

Please note that there are local taxis and buses if you need to go into Edinburgh that is about nine miles to the north. Our day talks will be held in St Matthew's Hall in Rosewell that has a beautiful and highly original church in its cloistered grounds.
